The MK Piano Club offers a regular informal meet up in Milton Keynes where local players can listen to one another, share their piano journey, and socialise in a supportive atmosphere.
The Club is free to subscribe to and anyone can come along. Tickets are available using the links provided below.
Additional recitals and workshops are planned for the future, including our major annual event:
Regular monthly sessions
Our regular informal get together for amateur adult piano players in and around Milton Keynes:
- meet other local amateur pianists, learners, and enthusiasts
- enjoy a welcome drink and chat
- listen to others play a piece
- play a piece to the group if you wish, but there’s no pressure
(book early to avoid disappointment)
The Club meets in The Crypt, a small basement hall to the rear of the Chrysalis Theatre in Milton Keynes, situated in Japonica Lane, MK15 9JY.
A venue map is available from the ticket booking site. Access to The Crypt is via the service road as shown on this image:
The Crypt can seat up to around 40 people, and offers a small Yamaha grand piano. There is usually ample parking on site (as shown), but in case the main theatre is also in use this can fill, so is subject to availability.
Additional parking is available at the Peace Pagoda car park (pay and display) opposite. If parking here, please use the bridge to safely cross the grid road.
- Doors and drinks (wine/juice included) from 7.30pm.
- Those who wish to have a warm up on the piano are welcome to do so from this time.
- Informal performances at around 8.00pm and last an hour
- The event finishes by 9.30pm.
If you wish to attend, you will need to use the Ticket Booking links shown below. From September 2026, event tickets cost £5.00 for performers and listeners alike, which includes a welcome drink.
You are welcome to make an additional donation to support the club or towards the tuning and upkeep of the piano if you wish to.
